Carnivine
Carnivine (Japanese: マスキッパ Muskippa) is a green Pokemon resembling a Venus Flytrap. Well, if you want suggestions from me then I could say that without looking at its Moveset, Stats, Abilities, Strength or weakness you can head ahead for the Carnivine evolution- yes it’s that much impressive. You can also verify from the below-given details:
It has circular eyes with small pupils, and it has spiky monstrous teeth. The stem which separates its upper and lower body is circular and yellow-colored on which there are several green spots. Continuing to it are the red and green vines beneath with the appearance of tentacles. It can hang from tree branches using these vines and is said to have a look similar to a plant. It has two arms resembling leaves with three leafy ‘fingers’ each present on the arms. Its mouth can open wide to about 180 degrees and with this wide-open mouth, it attracts the prey it waits for with sweet-smelling saliva, then chomps down. Carnivine takes a complete whole day to eat the prey. It lives in forests and marshes and the diet consists mostly of insects and small bugs.
Carnivine’s name is a combination of the words carnivore and vine. In Pokemon Battle Revolution, Toxic is depicted as two purple orbs spinning around each other towards the target. But, when Carnivine uses Toxic, the orbs travel erratically. However, the same animation is used for Spinda. James’s Carnivine is also the only one of this species to have appeared in the anime. Its looks make him a scary-looking Pokemon and also at the same time its fighting features are quite unique.
Carnivine was owned by James and it debuted in Two Degrees of Separation!, where he retrieved it from one of his old mansions in Sinnoh. James was forced to leave it at the Team Rocket HQ when he had to head towards Unova so that it wouldn’t attract attention as a Pokemon not native to the region.

How To Evolve?
Carnivine is not known to have evolved into or from any other Pokemon. It was introduced in generation 4. It is usually found in Sinnoh region.
How Much Useful Is My Carnivine?
Carnivine Pokemon has pretty impressive base stats, the highest being that of Attack with which it could do a good amount of damage. Carnivine is resistant to Water, Grass, Electric, and Ground-type moveset and deals with 63% of the damage. At the same time, it is also boosted by Sunny weather. Grass-type Pokemon are said to most competitive type and this Pokemon is around the middle of the pack, performing similar to another powerful grass-type Pokemon, Vilenplume.
As per its high catch rate, it indicates that it is quite easy to find this Pokemon. Its looks make it a forceful Pokemon. Its move sets can also cause a lot of damage. It can also grab the opponent in the mouth and swallow it. Thus with good strategy and tactics, encountering the opponent’s weakness and with the Pokemon’s abilities, Carnivine can be a great asset and work well on the field against strong opponents.
Weaknesses
Carnivine is a Grass-type Pokemon, which makes it weak against Fire, Flying, Poison, Bug, and Ice moves.
Other strong Pokemon who can stand a great chance against Carnivine are Darmanitan (Galarian Zen), Reshiram, Volcarona, Chandelure, Darmanitan (Standard).
Well, do you think that the Carnivine Evolution can suffice your needs in the game after going through its weakness, Moveset, stats, and more? If yes then you should run down to the Carnivine Evolution!
But if still, you think that you may find some better Moveset, stats, and less unhealthy weakness with the help of evolution other than of Carnivine, then Herald Journalism has information stocked for that purpose.
