Lunatone Pokémon|Development, Weak Point, Moveset, Statistics, And More!
Lunatone
Lunatone can be a decent choice if any Rock-type evolution addition is required in your team and its Moveset, Stats, Abilities will play along well but the thing that can trouble you here is the weakness it has against too many types of Pokemon. Still, it may stand a chance, have a look at the details:
Lunatone (Japanese: ルナトーン Lunatone) is a cream-colored, rock Pokemon with a crescent moon shape. In the center of the crescent are two pointed, beak-like structures between which a black line flows. It has deep-set, red eyes, circle in shape which can cause paralyzing fear or induce sleep. There are small, crater-like circles all over its body which makes its resemblance more like a moon or a place where a meteoroid fell. It lives in caves and becomes active under a full moon. The moon increases its power, and health is tied to the lunar phases. With the use of its psychic powers, Lunatone is able to float through the air. This makes it a ferocious-looking creature with unique abilities.
The Discovery of this Pokemon was firstly made at the site of a meteor crash. There’s a theory that Lunatone may have originated from outer space. Lunatone is based on the moon, as well as a meteorite, so does its body shows. But the name Lunastone is a combination of luna (Latin for moon) and stone. Surprisingly its shares its category with its counterpart Solorock. They are both known as the Meteorite Pokemon. They also have nearly identical base stats, with only the physical and special stats switched.
Lunatone was first introduced in “Crazy as a Launatne”, where it emerged from a meteorite that crashed in the Hoenn region, however, the Pokemon Mystery Club had an interest in capturing it.
In Its Still Rocket Roll to Me! And Solid as a Solrock, Liza owns a Lunatone, which battled alongside Tates Solorock against Ash’s Pikachu and Swellow during a Gym Battle. It was later defeated due to Ash’s use of Thunder Armor.

How To Evolve?
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon, but it is considered to be a counterpart of Solrock. It was introduced in Generation 3. However, Lunatone is said to have been discovered where a meteoroid fell. As a result, it is theorized that this Pokemon came from space. But no one has yet been able to prove this theory.
How Much Useful Is My Lunatone?
Lunatone has pretty decent base stats, the highest being Special Attack and HP. The best nature for Lunatone to have is Modest, this will increase its Sp. Attack and decrease its Attack stats. Lunatone is also a user of Rock Throw and is pretty decent in it. Thus it can be a budget-friendly option for a Rock-type attacker. The Pokemon is most active during a full moon. Its intimidating red eyes, cause all those who see it to become transfixed with fear. Its stare can send its foes to sleep or make them calm. With its supernatural powers and connection to lunar phases, it posses unique qualities. Hence making it a competitive and dangerous creature against the opponents.
Weakness

The other strong Pokemons who can stand a great chance against Lunatone are Metagross, Gengar, Darkrai, Chandelure, Kingler.
