How Much Useful Is My Morelull?

Resembling a small mushroom, Morelull is a cute Pokémon. This Pokemon is similar to other short Grass-type Pokemons like Budew, Foongus, and Shaymin. With pale green half-circle markings on the outer sides, Morelull has large, black eyes. There are small bumps that ring the top of its head which serve the purpose of its hair. Its body is thin, stem-like but on the contrary, its head is much larger. This stem extends further down and later splits into three green roots that act as feet.

From the center of its head, three large mushrooms sprout outwards. Around the base of the cap, each mushroom has a thin white stem and a darker ring of color. The largest, as well as the central mushroom, is light pink in color, whereas the other two mushrooms are light purplish-blue in color and comparatively smaller. Morelull can make the spores filling its mushroom caps glow during the night.

Morelull tends to keep changing its location every night in order to avoid depriving the plants in any one area of too many nutrients. It likes dark damp areas. In addition to locomotion, its roots are also used to communicate with other Morelull. It scatters spores that burst into bright when Morelull is in danger, these spores glitters sparks. This pulsing light of the spores can cause drowsiness.

By leveling up, Morelull and its evolved form were the only known Pokémon that could learn the Strength Sap moveset before Generation VIII.
